Why Giannis-fueled Bucks lose most if NBA scraps season

The Milwaukee Bucks (53-12) stand to lose the most should the NBA cancel the season because of the coronavirus pandemic. Why? For one, the Bucks will miss an excellent opportunity to win a championship. And, more importantly, with Giannis Antetokounmpo becoming eligible for a five-year, $ 253.8M supermax extension this offseason, the Bucks will lose a critical chance to show their superstar that they have put the pieces around him to win multiple titles.  Now, Giannis will be forced to choose whether to accept or decline his extension without having a vital piece of data: the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
